Cameron Wyatt Mathews was born to Tammie Jefferson and Craig Edwards Mathews Jr. in Sacramento, California. He was baptized at an early age and accepted Christ as his personal Savior at Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Cameron was truly a character in the best way. A goofball at heart, he was a dancer, a natural entertainer, and a musical genius. His presence alone could shift the atmosphere of any room—he was either going to make you laugh or make you shake your head, because Cameron knew exactly how to get under your skin.
A rising artist from Quail Run in Missouri City, Texas, Cameron was known professionally as Lee Gxtti, also called Cam Lee. His label, RICFN, stood for “Really I Came From Nothing.” While the name often sparked jokes, Cameron was quick to explain that it represented his journey in the music industry—because in life, he was raised in a loving, nurturing, and supportive home.
Music was Cameron’s passion and his voice. Through his artistry, he shared his story, creativity, and heart with the world. Some of his songs include “Family Affair,” “Greatness,” “Tell Me Why,” and “16k,” available on all major streaming platforms.
Above all, Cameron was a stand-up young man with a big heart and an even bigger personality. A proud mama’s boy, he loved his family deeply and lived unapologetically as himself. Cameron will be remembered for his laughter, his talent, and the unforgettable joy he brought to everyone blessed to know him.
