Cong Tri Nguyen

Mr. Nguyễn Công Trí was born on September 16, 1964, in Vietnam and passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025, in Rosenberg, Texas, USA, after a long and courageous battle with cancer since 2013.

He was a man of many talents and great determination. In his early years, he worked as a farmer and later served in the military. Together with his wife, he went on to build a small family-owned noodle business in Vietnam, where they worked tirelessly to raise their three children. He was the heart of the family kitchen—a talented cook who poured his love into every meal. At home, he was also the family handyman, always ready to fix anything that was broken. He taught his children the value of hard work, saving money, and not wasting what they had.

One of his greatest joys was spending time by the ocean. He loved going to Surfside Beach to go crabbing, and even on the days following radiation or chemotherapy, he would still say “yes” to the water and the fresh air. His strength was quiet but unwavering.

He adored his first granddaughter, Cherry (Karlie). He took her to the playground, rode bikes with her, fed her, and cherished every moment they shared. His love for her was deep and unconditional.

To his brothers-in-law, he was someone they always remembered with laughter and gratitude. They shared many good memories with him—he was funny, dependable, and always willing to help whenever they needed.

We love our dad deeply, and we miss him more than words can express. His kindness, resilience, and love will forever remain in our hearts.

He is survived by his loving wife, Yen Nguyen;

his eldest daughter, Khanh Nguyen, and son-in-law, Bach Dao;

his son, Bang Nguyen, and daughter-in-law, Linh Lam;

and his youngest daughter, Ngan Nguyen.

He is also cherished and remembered by his grandchildren: Karlie Dao, Tristan Dao, and Khoa Nguyen.
