On February 9, 1957 a baby boy was born to Ms. Jimmie Mae Jackson and Mr. Beammer Lee. They
named him Michael Wayne Jackson. After a mighty battle with cancer, Michael was called home to be
with our Lord.
Michael grew up in Richmond, TX, and attended Lamar Consolidate where he graduated in
1975. He lived in Richmond for most of his life until he moved to Houston in 2018.
To many of his friends, he was known as “The Fonz” Michael was
a gentle and loving soul who was always willing to help someone in need and was rarely seen with a
frown on his face.
Michael turned his life over to Christ in February 2018 and spent the remainder of his days being of
service to God and others.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his older brother, Charles M. Riggins I.
and his nephew, Carlos Riggins.
Michael leaves to cherish his memory his son, Michael W. Jackson Jr., his Granddaughter, Khloe Jackson,
His brother Reginald K. Jackson (wife Lisa) Sister, Mary Jackson-Lee, Nieces. Deidra Riggins, Jessica
Rodriguez (Husband Derrick) Shardae P. Cruz, and Kelsey Jackson. Nephews Charles M. Riggins II and
Dylan Jackson.
He also leaves a host of other family members and friends.
