Steven Anthony Rios Jr.

Steven Anthony Rios Jr., 19, of Houston, TX, passed away on December 16, 2024. He was born on October 18, 2005, in Pasadena, TX, to Christina Esquivel and Steven Rios.

Known to his family and friends as “Jr,” was a loving son, brother, and nephew. He was a bright and witty young man, always ready with a joke to make others laugh. Jr had a natural talent for technology and was the go-to person for fixing and cleaning tech gadgets. Whether it was a phone, computer, or gaming console, Jr could always be relied upon to make things work again.

Steven loved spending time with his beloved cat, Guiseppe, and cherished moments with his family. He was quiet and unassuming, yet his intelligence and presence left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He enjoyed playing video games, watching anime, and exploring his own interests in the comfort of home.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Josie Rios; great-grandmother, Aurora Flores; and Uncle Rick Flores. He is survived by his parents, Christina Esquivel and Steven Rios; siblings, Stephanie Rios and Michael Rios; his pet, Guiseppe; grandmother Ruby Flores; three uncles; one aunt; and numerous cousins. Jr’s family and friends will forever hold him in their hearts and remember him for his kindness, humor, and unwavering loyalty.

Jr will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
